Stories from the Well & Wise community

Reflections from people who joined Well & Wise spaces: what felt different, what stayed with them, and how the work met everyday life.

I felt that I was not alone in my struggles. I met people from different generations who are facing similar struggles and are all humble enough to be open to learning. It is easy to forget that there are people who can understand what seemed like very 'special' struggles. It's not just the program but the warmth of our teachers and my classmates. Their presence is very healing. There's something about Mr. & Mrs. Bonifacio that feels like a safe space, and it's like they really want to learn from us too even though they are already very well-read and smart. They were able to set that learning atmosphere and we all just went along.

Honestly, I couldn't ask for more from this program. It has been very impactful for me. The lessons, interactions, reflection questions, audits, and action steps were all well-aligned and really worked together in a meaningful way.

What I've learned is to really start with the basics. Before, I tried to change everything at once and couldn't follow through. This program reminded me that I don't have to process everything all at the same time. I'll be watching this in different seasons of my life.

I felt validated. The course helped me understand experiences I've had for years but never really knew how to explain. Even the things mentioned in passing opened up layers and layers of introspective questions for me.

My fiancée and I listen to the lessons during long drives and discuss the reflection questions together. It's become a really meaningful part of our preparation for marriage.

The program helped me realize that some of the things I was experiencing weren't just problems to fix - they were signals asking me to pay attention to parts of myself I had been ignoring.

MicahSelf-awareness

One of the biggest lessons was learning to listen to my body. For the first time, I recognized that I was exhausted and needed to rest instead of pushing through.
